KISS OF LIFE Julie became a hot topic in an online community forum as netizens debated on whether her "ant waist" is real or edited.

On May 29, a netter took to the site Instiz to express their shock after seeing the idol's tiny waist, which is said to be as big as her thigh only.

In the photo uploaded by the star in the past, Julie was seen taking her selfie on a beach while wearing a two-piece swimwear. Here, she showed off her hourglass figure, particularly gaining praise for her small waist.

When Korean fans saw this, they were amused by the "Nobody Knows" singer's crazy figure and selected her as their "wannabe body."

However, seeing this, there are also some people especially international commenters who were skeptical about Julie's waist and accused her of photoshopping her body.

Those who were knowledgeable of the human anatomy insisted that it is impossible to have such a tiny waist as in the photo and even if it's true, it would be unhealthy since she would have to lose some ribs and compress her organs tightly to achieve it.

People then showed frustration as if Julie truly edited her body to make her waist smaller than it was, she's not only lying to fans but is also not being a good role model to her younger fans who would possibly want to diet more or worse, starve themselves to have her body type.

Amid criticism, KISS OF LIFE fans defended Julie and claimed that the photo wasn't edited but real. They provided more photos of the idol showing her ant waist and explained that she was able to achieve it not only with diet but also because she used to be a ballet dancer before debuting as an idol. In the ballet scene, having a small waist is common among ballet dancers.
