ILLIT Minju's Message Following ADOR-HYBE Trial Results Draws Attention — Here's Why

Fans have come to the idol's defense.

On May 30, outlets shared that HYBE's appeal to exercise the voting rights for Min Hee Jin's removal as CEO of ADOR has been denied by the court. Sources also stated that HYBE has complied with the decision and has chosen to respect the ruling.

Ever since the feud between Min Hee Jin and HYBE began in April, numerous K-pop groups have been named and caught in the crossfire. K-pop groups such as ILLIT, NewJeans, aespa, LE SSERAFIM, GFRIEND, TWS, RIIZE, and many more were dragged into the conflict.

However, the group who is currently drawing the most criticism and hate within the feud was none other than the newly debuted ILLIT, as the group had been receiving endless flak for numerous reasons, from making fun of their live singing skills to calling out their similarities with NewJeans.

On May 30, a netizen established an online thread titled, "ILLIT Minju's Weverse Post After The Trial Article Came Out."

OP then uploaded a screenshot of Minju's message on platform Weverse. For further context, a fan sent an endearing message to Minju saying, "Minju, be happy forever. Happy Minju is my favorite. I love you, Minju."

Minju replied back to the fan, "Yes, I got it! I hope you're always happy and smiling!"

However, the author cropped the exchange out of context.

This caused angered netizens to question the OP's intention in making the post, as they implied that the forum was made to purposely draw more hate to ILLIT and Minju. K-netz defended the idol from the backhanded gesture and voiced out that Minju was only expressing love to fans.
