Vanessa Lachey Baby Birth: Career End In Future? “Dads” Star Says She’s Fully Committed To Marriage With 98 Degrees Star Nick Lachey And Being A Mother

Vanessa Lachey, who says she gained 65 pounds when she was pregnant with her first child, might be trading her future as a television personality for motherhood and marriage.

The "Dads" star and wife of 98  Degrees frontman Nick Lachey told the Los Angeles Times that she's dedicated to her role as a mother and a wife and that she wants to prioritize those ahead of other things.

"I see myself as his wife first, then as a personality or name," she said.

"I love my family name, and being Vanessa Minnillo obviously is all I've ever known, but moving forward Nick and I are a unit, and you get married - that's how I've always been - you get married, and you take your husband's name and you have a family. And things have been good."

But Vanessa Lachey doesn't want to stop there. She told the Los Angeles Times that she wants to have up to "three and four" children and wants to raise them in Cincinnati, Nick Lachey's hometown - a move that would languish her television career.

"I wanted to be in this role, so when things don't happen the way they should, I'm still happy ... and having a great support system," she told the Los Angeles Times.

However, there is some indication that Vanessa Lachey might continue working on her career.

She also told the newspaper that she was promoting a Fox series "Dads" produced by Seth MacFarlane that features Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi.
