Ex-MOMOLAND JooE Signs Exclusive Contract With New Agency + Official Statement

JooE is off to a new start!

On June 17, Oneul Entertainment released a brief statement announcing JooE's inclusion in the company. The former MOMOLAND member has reportedly signed an exclusive contract with the agency and will be receiving support on her activities across various fields.

"JooE has officially signed an exclusive contract with us," Oneul Entertainment shared. "We plan to provide generous support in order for her to pursue a wide range of activities."

Meanwhile, JooE also shared her thoughts about her exclusive contract with Oneul Entertainment. According to the idol, she plans to showcase more of her talents in her new home and display her versatility in numerous contents.

"I would like to show my versatile talents in my new home," JooE remarked. "I want to reach out to the public and show them better things through various contents."

Furthermore, Oneul Entertainment also uploaded JooE's profile photos, sparking attention from netizens online.

Likewise, JooE also uploaded two profile photos on her official Instagram account. The soloist also expressed her enthusiasm, "Hello, I'm JooE. I'm having a new start with my new family "ONEUL" Please look forward to it!"

Oneul Entertainment is a newly established company founded by CEO Bang Seok Hyung, who was the general director of SOURCE MUSIC and Abyss Company. During his time at SOURCE MUSIC, he was involved in the planning and production of GFRIEND with CEO So Sungjin.

Meanwhile, during his stay at Abyss Company, CEO Bang Seok Hyung also participated in the production of artists such as Sunmi, GOT7 BamBam, Melomance, Sandara Park, Urban Jacapa, and Park Won.

JooE debuted with MOMOLAND on November 10, 2016, after she successfully ranked fifth during the finale of the survival show "Finding Momoland." Following their debut, MOMOLAND continued to release songs such as "Wonderful Love," "Freeze!" and their breakthrough song "BBoom BBoom."

JooE also became a pivotal member of the group, as she eventually became known as K-pop's "Tropicana Girl" due to her viral dance moves in a Tropicana commercial. However, MOMOLAND concluded their activities on February 14, 2023.

As members went their separate ways, JooE decided to join Mnet's survival program "Queendom Puzzle" to compete for the final lineup of project girl group EL7Z UP. Unfortunately, JooE was eliminated in the show's semi-finals.
