Following reports of 2NE1 having an official meeting with YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun Suk, Sandara Park addressed rumors of a potential full comeback under the label. 

On June 28, 2NE1's main visual and member Sandara Park appeared on the latest episode of SBS PowerFM's "Cultwo Show" as its guest.

On this day, the female star personally addressed questions about 2NE1's rumored reunion comeback, which arose after the news that YG held an official meeting with the quartet on the 27th. 

In the radio broadcast then, Dara politely refused to give more details about the meeting for now, but she attested to K-pop fans that they were preparing to bring good news in the future.

She said:

"If I say anything, it will probably become the official position, so I have nothing to say. However, as a huge 2NE1 fan, I hope there will be good news."

Mentioning the group, she expressed her affection and loyalty to them, saying:

"I am a member of 2NE1, but I've always liked and admired the members since I was a trainee, and I'm still a huge fan to date. I have this thought that 'There is no team like 2NE1 and there won't be one in the future.' That's what I think so I am also waiting."

In particular, this is Dara's side after recent reports that YG's CEO and executive producer Yang Hyun Suk scheduled a meeting with 2NE1 in the company's new building in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul.

On June 27, they held their first reunion in 8 years after leaving the label and their talk lasted for 2 hours. On that day, Yang warmly welcomed the four members and it was said that they had very meaningful and profound conversations.

Yang also reportedly listened and considered the quartet's special requests, however, there is still no concrete plan yet. 

What makes this meeting between Director Yang and 2NE1 even more noteworthy is that it is not a private, external meeting, but an official meeting held during the members’ first visit to YG’s new building. 

At this point, there is a very high possibility that a new 2NE1 project will be underway, which is drawing the attention and interest of fans around the world. 

"Since Director Yang and the members of 2NE1 have met for the first time in 8 years and had their first conversation, no concrete plans have been made yet. 

However, Director Yang, who has a special affection for 2NE1, listened to the members’ requests and sympathized, so we hope to be able to deliver good news to the fans soon."
