SNSD YoonA Flaunts 'Young & Rich' Status As Owner of 25-B KRW Building in Cheongdam
In a recent report, a K-media outlet reported on SNSD YoonA's status as one of the most successful building-owners among K-pop idols.
On July 12, the K-media outlet News1 released an article featuring Girls' Generation YoonA's wealth as a real estate owner.
In particular, in October 2018, the female icon bought a building in the luxurious neighborhood of Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
She purchased it for 10 billion won ($7.3M), costing 70.68 million won ($51.3k) per pyeong (3.3㎡).
The building in question is a semi-new building that was completed in 2014, with a land area of 467.7㎡ (141 pyeong), a total floor area of 1,462.56㎡ (442 pyeong), and 2 basement floors and 4 above-ground floors.
It is located on the back side of Dosan-daero in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, and is about a 10-minute walk from Gangnam-gu Office Station on Subway Line 7 and Suin-Bundang Line and Apgujeong Rodeo Station. In the future, a Sinsa-Wirye Line stop is scheduled to open at the Hakdong Intersection.
According to a copy of the real estate registry at the time, YoonA purchased this building under her personal name with a maximum amount of debt of 7.2 billion won ($5.22M) and it is estimated that Yoona's actual investment amount is 4 billion won ($2.9M) in cash excluding loans.

After 6 years, her money already doubled as its value increased by 15 billion won ($10.9M) in 2024.
An official from Building Road Real Estate Brokerage evaluated it, saying:
"Based on the purchase price in 2018, if the current rent in 2024 is input, it is a high-yield building with a yield of a whopping 6.38%."
The current market price is estimated to be over 25 billion won ($18.12M).
This is because the property about 300m away from the building owned by YoonA was traded for 172 million won ($125k) per pyeong (3.3㎡) in June of last year. If you calculate the land area at this price, it comes to $18.12M.
Meanwhile, YoonA is the center and main visuals of the "Nation's Girl Group" SNSD. On top of being a legendary idol, she is also earning hundreds of millions as a CF Queen and award-winning actress.
Currently, she is the global face and brand spokesperson of the Hong Kong-based luxury brand, QUELIN as well as the global ambassador for the Italian high-end house, Miu Miu.
As an actress, she's notable for her hit dramas including, "The King In Love," "Big Mouth" and "King The Land." YoonA also established her status on the big screen with her works such as "Confidential Assignment," "Exit" and "A Year-End Medley."
