K-pop fans are calling out ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin for inserting herself in NewJeans's merchandise.
On July 15, 2024, an X (formerly Twitter) user that goes by Rin (@rin134340) called out Min Hee Jin for including herself in NewJeans's merchandise. Their tweet included a fansite-taken photo of Haerin wearing the group's merchandise, featuring drawings of the members and Min Hee Jin illustrated by Murakami Takashi.

While it was noted that the shirt is not actually for sale from the same Bunnies (NewJeans's fandom), that hasn't stopped some fans from hoping it does go on sale. However, not everyone agrees. Others called out the CEO for trying to insert herself in all of NewJeans's activities.
Many called out Min Hee Jin for manipulating the members of NewJeans and the public into thinking the group could not exist without her. Some accused Min Hee Jin of living vicariously through the girls, with many even going as far as to accuse Min Hee Jin of grooming the members into thinking she could do no wrong.
It was noted that this is not the first time Min Hee Jin included herself in things meant for NewJeans. In 2022, she gifted the members microphone cases with their names on them; however, she also had one made for herself despite not being a singer. In another instance, she gifted the girl group necklaces, but also had one made for herself.
Others wondered what was next, with some joking that her photo cards might be included in NewJeans's next album. Many joked that she might be gearing up for her debut as a soloist under ADOR.

However, Bunnies have defended Min Hee Jin from the hate. They stated that there is no actual problem since it is not official merchandise that can be purchased by the public. The fans slammed the K-pop community for spreading fake news without verifying the facts.
