Soyeon is gaining attention across social media for her reaction to an "inappropriate" clip regarding the members of (G)I-DLE. The interaction was captured online, as it drew reactions from the Neverland fandom, and directed criticism towards the fan's behavior.

On July 19, a netizen uploaded a short clip on platform TikTok, which showed Soyeon interacting with a Neverland in a fancall. While fancalls are usually wholesome to their core, Neverlands shook their heads at the fan's gimmick.

According to the post, Soyeon was presented with a clip showing a kissing sequence from the famous cartoon series "Tom and Jerry." 

However, the fan added a twist to the cartoonish skit by replacing the characters' heads with the faces of (G)I-DLE members. The video seemed to exhibit the context of "shipping," a term used for expressing enthusiasm and imagination to a fictional or potential romantic relationship.

"She's traumatized OMG," the video captioned.

Soyeon visibly tried to keep up with the fan's video. However, the reactions were polarizing online. Watch the clip here:
