Earlier on February 20, YouTuber Zev Does KDrama made headlines for his reaction to IU's "Shopper" MV. The elderly fan made buzz in online communities after complimenting the soloist's ability to tell a story through her music, alongside her singing and acting skills.
His video eventually caught the attention of IU, who posted on her Instagram Stories. According to the singer's post, IU invited Zev to one of her concerts in America.
"Hi, grandpa! Your videos made me happy. I want to make you happy for a long time. I really appreciate your smile and I would like to invite you to my concert in America.
My office will contact you, so please come. That outfit really suits you. Please enjoy my new album 'The Winning.' Thank you so much."
On July 30, IU held her HEREH world tour in Oakland, much to the excitement of eager Uaenas.

Apart from the concert highlights, netizens were happy to see Zev's new video content on July 31, which recalled his unforgettable experience at the concert and seeing IU in real life!
During the video, Zev shared that IU had given him a letter, a signed album, a keychain, and a bow tie made from traditional Korean fabric. Zev also revealed that IU had also given his wife a Korean hairpin, hanbok accessory, written card, and an autographed copy of "The Winning."
At the video's 5:12 mark, the Uaena shared that he and his wife had taken a photo together with the singer!
