The hectic schedules of ENHYPEN have sparked concerns from fans, who have also criticized BELIFT LAB for "overworking" the members. The issue was raised after the idols revealed their plans in a behind-the-scenes interview at Saitama Super Arena.
ENHYPEN has thrilled fans with their "FATE PLUS" world tour, which also included several cities in Japan. In their show for Saitama, ENHYPEN was engaged in an in-depth interview backstage and was asked about their plans after the tour.
The members replied with plans for simple pleasures such as eating together and sleeping. After being asked about their travel plans, the members brought up that being able to eat, sleep, and catch fish in a lake without cameras would be enough.
While the interview context was wholesome at best, fans were somewhat worried about the members experiencing burnout from their hectic schedules.
they just want to eat and sleep without the cameras :(
Q. what do you want to do after the tour? 🐥 we want to eat together. we haven't gathered together to eat 🐧 it has been a long time 🦮 i want us to sleep together in a line 🐈 sleeping like that like in kindergarten 🐧… pic.twitter.com/baXL0DTGQg
On social media platform X (Twitter), fans began to criticize BELIFT LAB for ENHYPEN's non-stop activities.
imagine if enha would be gone for like a week, we’ll get zero updates from them but we’re aware that they’re on a vacation.. and when they come back they’ll turn on a live to share sum memorable stories that happened.. how i wish enha could get that break that they deserve :( https://t.co/wf135Vd9lP
.@BELIFTLAB you need to end enhypen's tour, NOW! and they have been working nonstop for four years and have been touring for two! end the tour and give them a month break or more, im serious. your artists are human beings. treat them like human beings!!
that's why I don't think yall are ready for an enhypen documentary. And that's why I don't plead enha to show parts of them they're not yet ready to show, everything on its right time and place https://t.co/xBEyqOLvAR
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! I always pray that after their last official stop for Fate+ in Miyagi, no more tour announcements this year! I also pray that they’ll be given a vacation, even a 3d2n vacation wiil do, just without cameras, just the 7 of them to enjoy. https://t.co/FBhjvqAZAG
I remember watching those vlogs when they ate and slept and watched movies or whatever with cameras all the time and it makes me feel so out of place everytime. They deserve privacy, time to travel (alone, not staff) but engenes don’t boycott because they don’t care https://t.co/T4VlWM2Lhz
Others have also encouraged a boycott of HYBE and believed that doing so would catch the company's attention regarding ENHYPEN's health and well-being.
enhypen need rest. you can keep tagging belift and enhypen but unless your actions support your words & you start boycotting hybe, nothing will change.
what do u mean enhypen will have another tour and new album coming? fate tour plus is still ongoing, they just released an album a new set of these two is coming? @BELIFTLAB are u really insane? when will u let the boys rest? their only wish is rest, at least have consideration. pic.twitter.com/dLQ91RBh9E
In other news, BELIF LAB was criticized by fans for its quality control in ENHYPEN's newest album, "ROMANCE: UNTOLD." According to an ENGENE post on July 31, the fan showed a picture of an album copy smeared in blood and laminated with a crushed mosquito.
As of August 8, the post currently garnered around 69,000 retweets and 55,000 likes from netizens, who reacted in shock to the reveal. While some fandom drew hilarious jokes on the unboxing, some expressed disappointment towards the agency.
Y’all should be boycotting Hybe for bad quality control at the very least - this is literally a biohazard 🧍🏻♀️
It’s affecting every Hybe group fandom, this is just one in a list of many low quality issues/fuck ups in recent years since they changed manufacturing processes https://t.co/zKpMnzagMv
