BTS Suga Appears At Police Station For Questioning, Shares Brief Statement: 'I'm Deeply Sorry'

Suga has appeared at the police station for questioning regarding his DUI incident. In front of the station, Suga released a brief statement to the media, which caused reactions from netizens.

The idol trended for having been caught by the authorities on August 6, when he rode a scooter on his way home while under the influence of alcohol.

At around 11 p.m., in Nine One Hannam, Suga eventually fell to the ground when he made a turn in his apartment complex in Hannamdong. Three police officers were patrolling the area, and Suga's fall immediately alerted the authorities.

This caused Suga to be taken to a nearby station, and according to the examinations, the idol reportedly had a 0.227 alcohol level. The incident sparked a trail of debates, discussions, and sleuthing regarding the idol's DUI case.

Korean media has also dug into the situation further, as CCTV clips of the incident were released online. Some of the evidence also caused heated outrage among fans of the rapper due to misinformation and inaccuracy.

On August 23, Suga appeared at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul. The idol also apologized for the controversy and promised to cooperate with the investigations diligently.

"First of all, I am deeply sorry, as I am truly reflecting on having disappointed many fans and people (by my actions). I will cooperate and go through the investigations with diligence. I would like to apologize to everyone once again."
