The three former FIFTY FIFTY members Saena, Sio, and Aran have filed a civil lawsuit against ATTRAKT. The update was followed by the reactions of K-pop fans, who expressed mixed responses towards the legal update.

On August 27, Korean news outlets reported that Saena, Sio, and Aran have taken legal action against ATTRAKT CEO, Jeon Hong Joon. The lawsuit reportedly involved the members seeking ₩300 million KRW ($225,300.00 USD).

The lawsuit was filed earlier on August 23 at the Seoul Central District Court. The settlement lawsuit is also the members' counterclaim to ATTRAKT's 13 billion won ($9,761,700.00 USD) lawsuit for damages, which includes the members, their parents, and The Givers Ceo Ahn Sung Il.

Both trials were assigned to the 31st Civil Division and will be merged for proceedings. The three idols would also be represented by Dongin Law Firm regarding the damages and settlement claims.

The three idols are currently preparing their activities as an upcoming re-debuted trio amid FIFTY FIFTY's re-entry to the K-pop scene with its new members. Saena, Sio, and Aran signed an exclusive contract with IOK Company's new label MASSIVE E&C earlier on August 12.

The news eventually created a forum, where K-netz expressed their dismay at the trio's actions.

  • "They sure are good at bullsh**ting."
  • "They are freaking shameless."
  • "Isn't this the money that was required from you?"
  • "They're the ones who shattered the golden goose eggs that were handed to them (t/n: biting the hand that feeds you)."
  • "Isn't this your penalty fee?"
  • "Pay your penalty fee."
  • "Where's their shame."

Meanwhile, the legal updates also met negative responses from international fans, who expressed worry about the trio's second chance. They were also curious as to how Saena, Sio, and Aran's debut would go, given the controversies.

  • "And this is why I lowkey do not feel bad for them. They are making terrible financial decisions."
  • "With all the debt that they have, why the hell would they then turn around and gather up more legal fees for something that isn't guaranteed?"
  • "They should open a GoFundMe so all the boycotters can support."
  • "Sure they were manipulated, but they need to take responsibility for their actions. They are coming across as petty and unrepentant, which will not help their aspirations at all."
  • "Girls, just stop."
  • "They're obsessed with Attrakt and want to be relevant so badly."
  • "I wanna know whose money they're using to pay for those lawyers because keeping this up when you're already 13 million in debt is the stupidest thing I can think of."
  • "There I am in their previous article wishing them to not get more debt and for what?"
  • "They're destroying their second chance already? Oh no."
  • "They're so steeped in controversy I wonder how their debut will go."
