These idols continued to be active in performing, wore high heels and tight-fitting clothes, prior to announcing their pregnancy to the public.
Pre-marital pregnancy among idols is frowned upon and is heavily criticized in the K-community. Due to this, it is really uncommon for female idols to become pregnant before marriage, or even date while they are active.
However, some female stars were able to hide it and were able to manage to perform while carrying their firstborns.
1. Wonder Girls Sunye
In 2007, JYP Entertainment introduced its first girl group, Wonder Girls, which included Sunye as its leader. During their heyday, she became one of the most popular members and became worldwide known for their megahit, "Nobody."
Shockingly, Sunye got married and gave birth in 2013 and continued to become a Wonder Girls member until JYP Entertainment officially confirmed her departure in 2015.
2. Crayon Pop Soyul

In 2012, Soyul made her entry into the K-pop scene as the main vocalist and maknae of Crayon Pop. They became globally known for their hit track, "Bar Bar Bar."
In 2016, the group's label Chrome Entertainment announced that the idol would be halting her schedule during their "Evolution Pop Vol.1" comeback due to her anxiety disorder.
But in November, she shockingly reported marriage with former H.O.T Moon Hee Jun, whom she started dating in April. They had their wedding in February 2017 and she gave birth in May of the same year.
Seeing the timeline, Soyul was already pregnant before getting married, and she officially withdrew from the group shortly after giving birth.
3. Former Laboum Yulhee
While Laboum was still budding in 2017, Yulhee got pregnant then. She was 20.
At the time, she initially kept it from her parents and company but it became harder to keep it a secret as her baby bump became more noticeable during her third month while performing on stage.
She eventually left the team in November of the same year and got married to FTISLAND Choi Minhwan in 2018 after giving birth to a son.
They had another twin daughters in 2020. But after living together for six years, they divorced in 2024.
