ROSÉ has proved she's not one to shy away from talking candidly about her relationships, despite the hush-hush culture that often surrounds K-pop idols and dating.

In an interview with Zane Lowe to promote her upcoming solo album Rosie, the BLACKPINK vocalist laughs off the aftermath of a break-up, explaining that despite being emotionally affected, she was glad she looked put together on tour.

"I would actually look and be like, 'Oh my god, that's when I was going through the worst time of my life. I remember that tour. I had the biggest fight... with the ex. I remember then. I looked so good considering how heartbroken I was," she laughed.

The singer's upcoming third single, "toxic till the end," dishes further on the intricacies of their relationship, with lyrics revealed in an Instagram live.

In the track, ROSÉ reveals that her ex was less-than-enthusiastic about her friends and blamed herself for not recognizing the signs at first.

"Call this what we are
Toxic from the start
Can't pretend that I was in the dark
When you met my friends
You didn't even try with them
I should've known by then
That you were jealous and possessive
So manipulating
Honestly, impressive
You had me participating"

In an interview with Hypebae, ROSÉ revealed how she feels about the restrictive culture of dating as an idol.

"Yeah, it was not normal. It isn't normal. But also it's just not normal for me too. I had never really spoken about it too, because I feel like there's no need for me to ever confirm anything or talk about it," she said.

"But that's why this album means a lot to me, because these things are just inspirations for my art. I do want to make sure that that's very well addressed: The fact that it's not about the story of who Rosie has been with or whatever. It's really more about the art."

ROSÉ has released two singles from Rosie, including "APT." ft. Bruno Mars and "Number One Girl." The album is scheduled to be released December 6 through Atlantic Records.
