Hyeri revealed how she deals with the frequent breakups she experiences in the entertainment industry.

On December 6, the Girl's Day member updated her YouTube channel with a new video filmed with beauty content creator and hairstylist, Kiwoo. In the vlog, she was seen getting a layered cut while sharing some stories about her true feelings when parting ways.

The topic was brought up when Hyeri claimed that she prefers to join variety shows for their fun atmosphere. She described similar feelings of chatting and playing with friends on and off the camera.

In the past, Hyeri became a popular star with her variety show appearances, such as on ENA's "HMLYCP" and tvN's "Amazing Saturday." Kiwoo then recalled that Hyeri cried during the last episode of the latter's show and asked her about it.

The "Something" singer honestly replied:

"I usually cry when breaking up. But once I fully let all my emotions out, I feel relieved and it feels like I've finished for real. That's why I think it is really important to have a proper goodbye."

The idol-turned-actress continued to talk about her feelings about parting ways, especially on how she copes post-relationship.

"Because of the work I have, I experienced a lot of meetings and parting continuously. We spend all day together then part, you experience it so much that you become numb to it. (Still), I do cry a lot when breaking up."
