On December 9, Korean news outlet Newsen reported that YoonA will now wrap up her 10-year journey as host at the MBC Music Festival.

The music event is scheduled to be held on December 31, when YoonA will also be commemorating her 10th anniversary with the festival. The idol is also expected to embed an irreplaceable status as the longest-running main MC of the year-end event.

To address her departure, YoonA has also shared a statement expressing her gratitude.

"I will now be celebrating my tenth year as host of MBC Music Festival. Ten years really meant a lot to me and it has been meaningful to spend these years together (as an MC)," she stated.

YoonA continued, "I would like to thank everyone who stayed by my side and I would like to ask for your support until the last event this 2024, which I will forever remember as a warm memory."
