SF9 Zuho Speaks Out on Rowoon's Departure: 'Don't Hate Him, We Are 9 Forever'

SF9 is a boy group under FNC Entertainment launched in 2016. The nonet was doing well, until Rowoon left the team in 2023, followed by Zuho's departure from the label in January.

While Zuho clarified that he will still be active as a member, Fantasy, SF9's fandom, expressed their frustration with his frequent erasure from SF9's schedules although he has been showing his desire to work with them.

While a lot of fans pointed their fingers at FNC's poor management, some also blamed the members. Among them, Rowoon received the most hate for leaving the team to become a full-fledged actor, hurting a lot of Fantasy in the process.

But in a recent Instagram live broadcast, Zuho addressed these concerns and comforted fans who still lament on what the group has become.

"You guys have your respective lives while liking us and if problems arise among us, just how hard is it going to be for you," said the idol.

However, he also defended the members and asked fans to consider their feelings as well, while waiting for the day that they will be able to reunite as nine members again.

Zuho was firm to say that they will always be nine, even if Rowoon has left the team, for now.

"But it is not easy for us either. It's going to be tiring for you, but do you know what I always imagine? I try to picture that someday, when the nine of us reunite, how amazing would it be, that's all I hope for. That's what I want personally."

The idol also hinted to fans to stop the hate towards Rowoon and mentioned the group's relationship.

"What happened between the members might make you feel sad and upset but for us, between us, we are forever nine people... So, don't hate (him) so much. We are family. We are one family and it won't ever change."
