HYBE, SM, JYP, and YG's Debut, World Tour & Comeback Lineup in 2025 Revealed: BLACKPINK, BTS, More! Kpop Wiki

The biggest idol groups of all time will finally make their much-awaited return this year!

Starting with HYBE, the multi-label conglomerate is cooking a star-studded artist lineup for 2025. BTS, which paused their activities following the members' military hiatus, will kick off their full group activities with the discharge of the remaining members in June.

The septet is preparing a new full album and a world tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their third EP, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1, released in 2015, as per the Asia Economy.

"BTS' return is expected to not only increase HYBE's sales but also provide another impetus to the global K-pop craze," stated the article.

SEVENTEEN, handled by label Pledis, will also drop a new album and continue their world tour to commemorate their 10th anniversary. However, there will be restrictions on full group activities due to some members who will enlist in the first half of 2025.

To minimize this gap, the company will introduce more unit schedules of BSS and solos of Woozi or Hoshi.

Regarding NewJeans, who remains under ADOR by the laws, will continue promoting amid their unresolved conflict with the label this year. There is a high expectation that the girl group will release a new album under their speculated new name, Jeanz.

SM Entertainment, home to top groups NCT, aespa, and more, is currently embarking on its family concert in five cities to celebrate the company's 30th anniversary on Feb. 14.

SMTOWN LIVE will kick off in Seoul on Jan. 1-2, followed by a show in Mexico on May 9 and Los Angeles on May 11. The tour will proceed with a stop in London on June 28 and Tokyo on Aug. 9-10.

This year, they plan to take a step toward the future by introducing a new girl group five years after aespa.

Aside from HYBE and SM, JYP Entertainment, home to Stray Kids, is also heralding the boy group's attack in the global market in 2025 with a large-scale world tour, which includes a North American stadium tour.

Before them, JYP will first debut its new six-member boy group KickFlip this month, introducing a street dance and skateboarding culture. All members have professional-level skateboarding skills, so they will showcase a performance that stands out among existing idols.

Lastly, YG Entertainment is also heralding the return of BLACKPINK following the members' successful solo careers.

"BLACKPINK will once again captivate their global fandom with a new album release in May and a world tour spanning Asia, North America, and Europe," as per the report.

The agency will also drop a new idol group based on hip-hop and R&B, after the successful launch of BABYMONSTER last year.
