FNC Entertainment has released an update regarding the health status and future schedule of CNBLUE leader Jung Yong Hwa.

The agency uploaded an official statement on the fan platform Weverse, which announced the updates on Jung's condition. FNC first expressed gratitude to CNBLUE's devoted fans, also known as BOICEs.

The label continued, revealing that Jung is confirmed to undergo knee surgery after experiencing discomfort, which also led to a hospital visit.

In the results, Jung was diagnosed with a meniscus tear in his right knee, prompting surgery to follow the advice of medical professionals.

"Jung Yong Hwa recently felt discomfort in his knee and went to the hospital for a thorough examination and was diagnosed with a meniscus tear in his right knee," the agency said.

"After that, according to the opinion of the medical staff, we will proceed with the 'meniscus tear suture surgery' today."

Jung's schedule was taken into consideration by the company amid his recovery. The agency shared that, after discussing the adjustments with Jung, the CNBLUE frontman will reduce his activities to adhere to the medical team's professional recommendations.

"We have decided to proceed with the scheduled schedule with reasonable precautions per the recommendations of the medical staff," FNC continued.
