(G)I-DLE's Yuqi is known for the adorable Corgi tattoo on the back of her right shoulder.
Initially, her fans, Neverlands, thought it was temporary, but the idol has been showing it off since having it in 2020, even enhancing the design with a delightful cluster of paw prints to add a touch of whimsy.
"I was really into Welsh Corgis and I want to adopt one day. I just thought it was really cute so I tattoed Ggigi (tattoo's name) onto me," shared Yuqi during her interview with Cosmopolitan Korea, posted on YouTube.

In a recent Pixid web content, the "TOMBOY" hitmaker once again opened up on her tattoo when her co-member Soyeon asked her about its real meaning.
"This is a sad story, though. I got it after breaking up with my boyfriend," revealed Yuqi.
Soyeon, who was visibly perplexed after hearing her answer, called for an ad break. But realizing what she said, Yuqi immediately waved her hands to clarify it herself.
"I just said it to be funny. Yes, that wasn't true."
Just as she expressed two years ago, her choice was inspired by her affection for Corgis. However, it holds a deeper significance that truly resonates with her.
"They have really short legs, right? Other dogs have long legs, so they can go far with one step. But I was like the Welsh Corgi at the time," narrated the singer.
"I had to take one step at a time with my short legs and work really hard. It was when I was lacking self-esteem."
