Doctor Who Copycat [VIDEOS]: Justin Timberlake Leaves Silent Message In Video As Matt Smith Bids Fans Farewell For Season 8

"Doctor Who" is never one to avoid fan interaction, and after Matt Smith left fans a silent message about him leaving the show for season 8, Justin Timberlake has taken up the fad as well.

In his latest video, the "20/20 Experience" singer used handwritten messages to announce his upcoming album, aptly named "20/20 Experience: 2 of 2."

"I originally recorded a massive amount of material and decided on the 20 tracks that I wanted on the album over a year ago," said the 32-year-old husband.

"But, when I was mixing and going through all of the songs there were so many that I loved--I couldn't resist...I had to throw in something extra on the 2nd half."

Fans can listen to his new single "Take Back the Night" now.

But before Justin, there was Matt Smith.

After announcing he was leaving "Doctor Who" after the 50th Anniversary episode and Christmas Special, Matt Smith uploaded a video for "Doctor Who" fans while filming a new movie in Detroit.

Filmed last month, 30-year-old Smith left fans an adorable silent message while filming in Detroit for "How to Catch a Monster."

Sadly, this means Matt Smith will not return for season 8, although his companion Jenna-Louise Coleman is set to return to "Doctor Who" that season.

But whose message was better? You decide.
