Jane Lynch is going to make divorce from her wife official, sources say.

Cory Monteith's death isn't the only sad news coming out of Glee, it seems.

"Glee" actress Jane Lynch and psychologist Lara Embry have filed for divorce on Friday, making their split official.

The duo were wed in Sunderland, Mass., on May 31, 2010. (Same-sex marriage has been legal in the Massachusets since 2004; it was the first state to recognize gay marriage.)

Irreconcilable differnces were cited as the reason for their divorce. Court documents show that Feb. 7 was the date of their separation.

In June, Jane Lynch said in a statement, "Lara and I have decided to end our marriage.This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter."

The court documents fil ed in L.A. Superior Court also state that they had their domestic partnership legally established in California on July 10, 2010. According to California legislation, neither she nor Embry needed to be a resident or own a home in the state in order to dissolve their partnership there.

They two did not have any children together. Lara Embry has a daughter, Haden.
