Legend Of Korra Composer Jeremy Zuckerman To Host Reddit AMA July 16: How Many Season 2 Release Date Questions Will He Get?

With "The Legend of Korra" season 2, Book Two: Spirits releasing presumably this fall and Book One: Air recently released on DVD and Blu-Ray, "Korra" and "Avatar: The Last Airbender" composer Jeremy Zukerman will be hosting a Reddit AMA tomorrow, July 16 to answer some burning questions.

"Prepare for a million 'When is Book 2 coming out!' questions..." writes Reddit user IgnorantThrall.

And indeed, nearly 100 comments have already graced the AMA Reddit page in anticipation for the Q&A, especially with the "Legend of Korra" Comic-Con panel coming up on July 19.

The AMA is in celebration of the release of the "Legend of Korra" official soundtrack also arriving July 16, with 26 tracks from Book One: Air.

"Early on, I made a choice to make the music intimate and human," says Zuckerman to Vulture. "I wanted to hear the individual performances of the live instruments. I wanted it to be sparse at times, have cues that are one or two instruments."

"[I'm] looking at the imagery, looking at the pacing of the fight, looking at the dialogue. Is it full on aggressive or is there a bit of sadness? What kind of stuff is under the surface of the action? There's always something. I try and bring out the lower layers."

And what does the composer have to say about season 2, Book Two: Spirits?

"The scale is larger. The epic is bigger and the intimacy is more intimate," Zuckerman says.

"The temple stuff, the middle of the season, is really ambitious. So much music and sound design. It starts out on 10 and you have to figure out how to raise the ceiling."

But what about a release date? Sorry, Zuckerman can't say, but you can bet the Reddit AMA will be chalked full of questions regarding the upcoming season.
