Call of Duty: Ghosts Xbox One, PS4 release date has not been officially announced yet, but it was confirmed that the upcoming Activision game will be unveiled this August.

Executive Producer Mark Rubin revealed that the unveiling for the multiplayer mode features of Call of Duty: Ghosts for Xbox One and PS4 versions will be some time in August, but a specific date was not shared. Also, there was no revelation as to where the official debut will be held, whether it is during a gaming convention, via online or a TV ad.

Rubin shared via Twitter on July 12, "Sorry I haven't been on twitter much lately. We are in our death march push to finish game. Lots left to do. Looking forward to MP in august."

Meanwhile, Game Rant, a news site about video games, shared its prediction that the début of Call of Duty: Ghosts for Xbox One and PS4 versions may happen during Gamescom 2013, which is set to happen from August 21 to 25. Because there is only a few more months left before the release of next-gen gaming consoles, the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One, Gamescom might be the last grand opportunity for developers to show off their new games and products.

Moreover, this is the first time for the Call of Duty franchise to have a substantial revamp. Accordingly, this year's release of Call of Duty: Ghosts for Xbox One and PS4 will feature a new engine, a new mechanics for gameplay and a new story.

Earlier updates from Infinity Ward were only revealing the single player elements of Call of Duty: Ghosts, but fans are also dying to know about what the developer has in store for the multiplayer mode of the latest instalment of the first-person shooting video game. Nonetheless, fans do not have to wait for so long anymore, because in a month's time, Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer mode will already be launched.
