Ric Flair Arrest Warrant Issued: Owes $32,000 In Spousal Support After Ex-Wife Arrest For Harassment

Ric Flair arrest warrant issued for the former WWE hall of famer failing to pay over $32,000 in spousal support.

After separating from ex-wife Jacqueline Beem last summer, Flair allegedly failed to make payments of $4,000 a month. Two court orders were issued for the "Nature Boy" to make the payments and now a Ric Flair arrest warrant was issued in Charlotte, N.C.

The Ric Flair arrest warrant comes one day after Beem's arrest. She was arrested when she turned herself and charged with a misdemeanor for making harassing phone calls to Wendy Kidder, Flair's girlfriend, according to Beem's attorney Brad Smith. She was let free on a $500 bail.

"Miss Fliehr is eager to have her day in court on this as well," Smith told the Observer.

Flair responded to his wife's arrest.

"My girlfriend Wendy Kidder is the mother of four and she has 50 texts and five phone (voice-)mails from my ex-wife," he told the Observer. "They didn't give Wendy a warrant for arrest without looking at all of that stuff."

Flair spoke about why he didn't make the payments after what has been a rough few months for the former 16-time World Champion.

"The reason I didn't pay my ex-wife the $32,000 is because my son died and I was in the hospital for a month," Flair said. "I was in the hospital for a month with a blood clot. I didn't go to work for three months."

Real name Richard Fliehr found his son and fellow professional wrestler dead in March at a hotel where Ric was currently living. Reid died from a toxic combination of heroin and prescription drugs, according to the autopsy.

Flair and Beems were married in November 2009 and separated in June 2012, when Beems accused her husband of committing "acts of marital misconduct."

"Husband has had numerous intimate relationships with other women during the parties' marriage to the embarrassment and humiliation of wife," the complaint alleged at the time.

Beems was charged with a misdemeanor in 2010 for assault against Flair, but those charges were later dropped.
