Diablo 3 fans have some exciting developments in the console world, with a PS3 demo to showcase at San Diego Comic-Con, although the PS4 edition will be a little while later.

As Polygon reports, a playable demo for Diablo 3 PlayStation 3 edition will be on display at the Sony booth.

According to the official Blizzard website, the Diablo 3 multiplayer will be available to be enjoyed from 9:30 am to 7 pm for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 starting July 18. It will remain open until July 21.

In addition, Comic-Con exclusive items will be on sale for the Blizzard game, including plush toys, action figures, and lanyards.

Diablo 3 is expected to release September 3 for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Meanwhile, Diablo 3 will not be available for the next-gen console PlayStation 4 until 2014.

Rather a direct port from PS3 to PS4, the time will be used to tailor to the next-gen specs. According to game director Josh Mosqueira and designers Travis Day and Wyatt Cheng, the statements are only for the PS4 and not Xbox One.
