$92 Quadrillion PayPal Accident Allows A Man For Two Minutes To Be The Richest Man In The World And Maybe Of All Time

$92 quadrillion PayPal accident happened when a Pennsylvania man was mistakenly credited that amount of money into his bank account for two minutes, which made him temporarily the richest man in the world.

Chris Reynolds was the man involved with the $92 quadrillion PayPal accident on Wednesday. The public relations executive told the Los Angeles Times that when he checked his e-mail Saturday, he saw his PayPal statement was ready. That is when the shocking number appeared.

The $92 quadrillion PayPal accident was exactly $92,233,720,368,547,800 when Reynolds saw his statement, according to the L.A. Times.

"I was skeptical," Reynolds said. "And my skepticism was validated within two minutes."

It was two minutes later that when he logged back on, he saw that the PayPal account was at $0. All he could do was post a snapshot of the statement to show his Facebook friends what could have been.

Reynolds declined to say how much money PayPal offered him to his charity following the accident, but said the donation was "many digits short" of the $92 quadrillion. "It was a meaningful donation."

"This was obviously an error and appreciate that Mr. Reynolds understands this was the case," the company said in a statement.

"I've always wanted to own the Phillies," he said in case this was somehow a reality.
