"Fifty Shades of Grey” movie cast rumors have been flying for months but the speculation will soon be over. Producers of “Fifty Shades of Grey” have let release date slip and we know the director, but fans of the sensual thriller “Fifty Shades of Grey” can’t wait to find out who’s going to star in the movie adaptation of the EL James’ erotic bestselling novel. “Fifty Shades of Grey” makers have announced that they will unveil the actors who will play the leads Christian Grey Anastasia Steele at Comic-Con.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” casting has gambling sites buzzing. We are weeks away from learning who will be cast as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. A lot of names have been floated for the leading roles in “Fifty Shades of Grey,” and HollywoodLife.com is reporting that “Fifty Shades of Grey” cast will be announced at Comic-Con, the annual super-geek congregation.

A source told HollywoodLife.com “A reveal of the cast is currently planned for Comic-Con.”

“Fifty Shades of Grey” will be released on August 1, 2014. Sam Taylor-Johnson is set to direct the sensual thriller.

Speculation has been rampant over who will play the brooding sex fiend with the great clothes, Christian Grey. Names of some of the hottest Hollywood hunks such as Ian Somerhalder, Henry Cavill, and Matt Bomer are consistently floated by female fans. Twitter went crazy when E L James, the writer of “Fifty Shades of Grey” attended a Great Gatsby-them party at Robert Pattinson’s house on June 22.
There were reports that Alex Pettyfer of “Magic Mike” filmed a scene in April with another director Gus Van Sant, but there was no official confirmation of his casting.

Gossip over who plays the Grey’s lover, Anastasia has been just as hot. There were rumors that Emma Watson, “Harry Potter’s” Hermione Granger, conjured the part, but that was illusion. Watson took to Twitter to firmly dismissed those rumors. Fans have also breathed heavily over Lucy Hale, Shailene Woodley, and Felicity Jones.

The front runners are the Dragon MILF from “Game of Thrones,” Emilia Clarke and the studious “Gilmore Girls” star Alexis Bledel. It all depends on the chemistry.

There are several mock "Fifty Shades of Grey" trailers on the web. Most of them have Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel as E.L. James' kinky lovers, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
