Jennifer, 44, looked almost unrecognizable with her new hair, which appeared to be a brown wig cut just above her shoulders and side bangs. Many fans were shocked, as they thought the "Horrible Bosses" actress had chopped off her iconic hair but it was later revealed that she was simply wearing a wig for her character in "Squirrels to the Nuts."

Aniston wore a short empire-waist blue dress with brown sandals as she shot the scene. Her makeup was fresh and summery, including black eyeliner and rosy lip gloss, The Daily Mail reports.

Jennifer also kept on her large engagement ring from fiancé Justin Theroux during filming. She even got a visit from her hubby-to-be later in the day. Justin, 41, visited her trailer between scenes and showed off his muscular arms in a sleeveless T-shirt paired with straight-leg jeans, black boots, and a baseball cap.

The couple, who got engaged in August 2012, are rumored to be tying the knot in December, The Daily Mail reports.

In another scene, Jennifer was wearing the same wig, but was without her engagement ring. She looked sleek and professional during filming, wearing tight black slacks, a black sleeveless satin shirt, and a white belt.

Jennifer's most well-known haircut is "The Rachel", which she sported in the mid-1990s for the hit TV series "Friends," Hello! magazine reports.

Earlier this year, Aniston commented on "The Rachel" hairstyle: "The Rachel was horrible. [It] was high maintenance. I'd curse Chris McMillan (the star's hairstylist) every time I had to blow-dry. It took three brushes - it was like doing surgery!"

"Squirrels to the Nuts" follows a Broadway director who falls in love with a prostitute-turned-actress and helps her launch her career. Jennifer co-stars alongside Owen Wilson, Cybill Shepherd and Eugene Levy in the comedy.
