Pokemon Comes To Wii U: Battle All 649 Pokemon In Rumble U!

The Pokemon Company and Nintendo may be busy with the upcoming release of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, but the franchise will also grace the Wii U with Pokemon Rumble U next month!

Pokemon Rumble U will be released in Europe August 15 and North America August 29, and the game allows players to scan real-life figures via Wii U's Near Fields Communication technology.

According to IGN, the Pokemon figures are optional at $3.99 each, and as of now, 18 figures can be purchased GameStop stores in "concealed capsules."

However, the Pokemon players use with the figures via the NFC technology can grow stronger by using coins players receive in the game, unlike their digital counterparts.

"Jump in and play solo, or with friends, as they accompany your Pokémon heroes on their quest to return to the Pokémon Toy Shop. They will pass through a variety of fun-filled locations, like Sparkly Playland, Mysterious Forest, and Blue Sky Park," states The Pokemon Company.

Some of the Pokemon figures include Pikachu, Deoxys, Eevee, Victini, and Genesect.

What's exciting is that all 649 Pokemon up to Pokemon Black and White 2 will be featured, and up to 100 Pokemon can be featured in a battle at one time.

Pokemon Rumble U will be available in the console's eShop for $17.99.
