As Pokemon X and Pokemon Y prepares its October 12 launch, a new collaboration seems to be brewing between Game Freak and another popular game title.

Pokejungle reports that a teaser image has been unveiled on the Game Freak official website, featuring a silhouette of what appears to be a horse, donkey, or a similar animal.

"A well-known game played throughout the world will be reborn through this astonishing collaboration!" says the phrase translated into English.

As of now, theories regarding this collaboration are mostly centered around Pokemon, and a new Pokemon being unveiled for X and Y or a spinoff title that is also tied to another franchise.

"I want a Pokemon and Animal Crossing game!" writes Pokejungle visitor Keanno Fausto.

But another theory has risen that has some credence: Pokemon and Viva Pinata.

"Microsoft decided to sell the rights to Rare's dead Viva Pinata series to Nintendo, and since its only appearance on their systems was on the DS, they decided to give it to their resident colorful-creature-starring handheld game makers?" suggests Deoxys911.

Another popular theory for this is Pokemon mixed with Harvest Moon.

Since Pokemon X and Y is Game Freak's biggest project right now, it would make sense that Pokemon is somehow related to this.
