New Borderlands 2 DLC is arriving this fall.

Gearbox Software announced on July 19 that it will be releasing Borderlands 2 DLC soon, raising the first person shooter game's level cap to 11, bringing it to total of 72 levels. Tech 2, citing Polygon, reported that the loot-based FPS title will have Borderland 2 DLC, as the game will be getting the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2, priced at $5.

The upcoming Borderlands 2 DLC will also have the Digistruct Peak Challenge, which offers a new map, loot and the opportunity to "over level your game" for additional challenges. According to the reports, Borderlands 2 DLC will be sold separately and it will not be part of the Borderlands 2 Season Pass.

Though there was no release date confirmed by the game developer yet, CEO of Gearbox, Randy Pitchfort verified that this Borderlands 2 DLC will be available at some point before October 31. Also, he said that no previous Borderlands 2 DLC will be required to be able to play the upcoming new content, as reported by Kotaku.

Furthermore, another Borderlands 2 DLC will soon emerge, called the HeadHunter Pack: T.K. Baha's Bloody Harvest. This Borderlands 2 DLC will be available this fall and will feature the great comeback of T.K. Baha, who was present in the first game. It will include a new mission and a themed boss battle with T.K. Baha. Winning against Baha will reward the players some new options to customize their characters.

Price for the T.K. Baha's Borderlands 2 DLC is not yet announced by the developer, Gearbox Software, has already promised that more HeadHunter Packs content will arrive later. The Borderlands 2 DLC for Headhunter Pack will also not be part of the Season Pass.

Furthermore, Gearbox is also planning to release free updates to Borderlands 2, which will increase the maximum amount of ammunitions the player can carry, as well as "enhance the total number of available bank slots, and boost inventory capacity."
