The Fifth season of Glee has been delayed in the wake of Star Cory Montheith's tragic death. The Fifth season premiere date has been moved to Sept. 26 from its original Sept. 19 date. But many wonder if Glee can continue without Monthieth and the sad remnants he's left behind.

The death of Cory Montheith not surprisingly will set back the hit show. Writers will have to find a way to write his exit into the story line and the Glee cast will need time to grieve before the fifth season.

"In light of the tragic passing of beloved Glee cast member Cory Monteith, the series' executive producers, 20th Century Fox Television and Fox Broadcasting Company have jointly decided to delay the start of production of Glee until early August," the statement said. "No further details are available at this time."

Glee Cast Cory Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room Saturday, July 13^th, in Vancouver. The actor was 31-years-old.  Glee Cast Cory Monteith played Finn Hudson on the musical comedy show.

An autopsy confirmed Monteith dies form an overdose of Heroin and alcohol. Cory tried to fight his addictions but his demons kept coming back and eventually took his young life.llil

According to CNN, Monteith's body was discovered Saturday noon by staff members at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, acting Chief Constable Doug LePard told reporters.

Few details are known about Glee Cast Cory Monteith's stay.  He checked into his room July 6.  Monteith apparently had several people over to his room at one point Friday night. However, Monteith was seen on hotel surveillance video returning to his room in the early morning hours alone.
