Serena Williams Boyfriend 2013: Patrick Mouratoglou Her Dream Coach? Swedish Open Victory Marks 75 Percent Of Tournaments Won Since Training As Couple

Serena Williams' coach and rumored boyfriend, Patrick Mouratoglou, has led her to win 12 out of 16 tournaments she has entered since they started training together.

The American tennis star won her 53rd WTA title by beating Johanna Larsson 6-4, 6-1 in the final of the Swedish Open on Sunday, according to ESPN.

The 24-year-old Swede broke to lead 3-1 in the first set before Serena Williams fought back to 3-3. Larsson advanced to 4-3 before caving in to the American's strong serve and losing the next three games, ESPN also writes.

Serena Williams and Patrick Mouratoglou have also made headlines for their relationship off of the court, but past interviews reveal she might not have always been into dating white men.

'I'm very selfish and set in my ways. There are some great guys out there, wonderful people. I only date black guys. I don't mind white guys, I just prefer black guys," Serena Williams said during an interview with filmmakers Maiken Baird and Michelle Major in 2011.

The two filmmakers were making a documentary about Serena and Venus Williams that released last month.

But to the surprise of many tennis fans around the world, Serena Williams began dating her white boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou a year after the interview.

And Serena Williams' favorite movie is "Mama, There's a Man in Your Bed" a French film about a mixed-race couple living in Paris, leaving fans wondering if her movie preferences are inspired by her romance with her coach.
