Michael Moore Divorce[VIDEO REPORT] After 22 Years Filmmaker Says "Marriage Can Not Be Preserved' Collaborated With Wife Kathleen Glynn On Countless Movies[MOORE MOVIES RECAP]

Michael Moore filed for divorce from his wife. Moore, 59, and his wife, Kathleen Glynn, 55, will divorce after 22 years of marriage.

Michael and Kathleen's divorce is very sad, due to the eye opening work they have done together in the last few decades and and the extent of their 22 year marriage.

Moore filed a divorce complaint against Glynn on June 17 in Michigan's Antrim County, where the couple has a lakefront home. It says their relationship has broken down and "there remains no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved."

Moore and Glynn have collaborated various projects that include "Bowling for Columbine," "Fahrenheit 9/11" and "Capitalism: A Love Story."

Glynn is listed as producer or executive producer on many of Moore's hard-hitting documentary films.

Fahrenheit 9/11  is the highest-grossing documentary of all time and winner of the Palme d'Or. His films Bowling for Columbine (2002) and Sicko (2007) also placed in the top ten highest-grossing documentaries, and the former won the Academy Award for Documentary Feature.

In September 2008 Moore released his first free movie on the Internet, Slacker Uprising, which documented his personal quest to encourage more Americans to vote in presidential elections. He has also written and starred in the TV shows TV Nation and The Awful Truth.

Moore's written and cinematic works criticize globalization, large corporations, assault weapon ownership, U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton[7] and George W. Bush, the Iraq War, the American health care system, and capitalism.

A final hearing is scheduled for Sept. 10, when the divorce should be finalized. The couple married in October 1991 and have no children together. Kathleen has a daughter, Natalie, from a previous relationship who is Moore's stepdaughter.
