Horse In McDonald's Drive-Thru Denied So Mother And Daughter Bring Horses Inside: They Poop On The Floor

A horse in McDonald's after denied to be in drive-thru in Whitefield, Manchester on Saturday. The woman on the horse decided if she can't go through the drive-thru that she and the horse would go inside to eat.

The horse in McDonald's reportedly took a dump in the fast-food establishment while inside.

"When she [employee] said: 'You can't go through the drive through but you can come into the store', I thought 'okay, we will'," Christine McGrail told UPI after her and the horse went in McDonald's.

McGrail was with her daughter Olivia and according to the staff, they were reportedly told to tie up their horses up. Christine, 33, who was riding stallion Dancer, and her nine-year-old girl, on pony Minnie, weren't allowed on line, but they were able to go inside with them.

"The sight and smell of this caused obvious distress and upset to customers trying to eat, as well as staff members," the McDonald's staff told the authorities.

The woman was issued a Fixed Penalty Notice for bringing the horse into the McDonald's and the horse going poo on the floor.

A spokesman for McDonald's told Daily Mail, "I can confirm that on 20th July a woman allowed her pony to enter our restaurant in Whitefield after being refused service in the drive-thru lane. The incident caused distress to customers and disruption for the restaurant and the police issued the woman with a Fixed Penalty notice."

The spokesman said that McDonald's only can serve vehicles in the drive-thru.

"The health safety of our customers and staff is our top priority and for this reason we are unable to serve pedestrians, bicycle riders or customers on horseback through the drive-thru."

The company said they would not be releasing CCTV footage of the incident, according to Daily Mail.
