Felicia Day Returns To Supernatural In Season 9 [VIDEO]: Reiterates End Of The Guild With Companion Book Release

Fans of Felicia Day and "The Guild" may be sad to see the end of the iconic web series, but they can catch Day in season 9 of "Supernatural."

During the San Diego Comic-Con, Felicia Day made a surprise appearance at the "Supernatural" panel.

"I don't know how these guys feel about, but when I was directing and they're doing scenes with Felicia, I didn't get the sense that she really gave you very much," teased executive producers Robert Singer right before Day revealed herself to the audience.

Singer then confirmed that Day will reprise her role as Charlie Bradbury for season 9 of "Supernatural."

But what about her beloved creation "The Guild?"

"If I woke up with an amazing idea for season seven, then booyah, I would have done it," said Felicia to paidContent.

"But six years of one show? That's more than most shows ever get. It was such a peaceful decision that I knew it was the right one."

"The Guild" most recently released the official companion book published by Titan Books on July 16, where the cast and creators shared their experiences.

"There are a lot of things in the book that I didn't even really remember, and reading through the cast member's experiences gave me more perspective on how they approached the show."

And after "The Guild" and "Supernatural," will Felicia Day create another series?

"It's a question of overcoming the bar that was set with 'The Guild' and just creating something. After Comic-Con, my emphasis is going to be on creating that next thing, that's really authentic. However long it takes - that's my primary focus right now."
