Beyonce Mrs. Carter Show World Tour : Singer Hair Caught in Fan During Performance; Should Her Weave Bow Down?

While performing her top charting ballad 'Halo' in Montreal for her Mrs Carter Show World Tour, Beyonce had to be saved from a whipping fan that caught her long golden locks in its propellers.

Instead of interrupting the heavenly tuned set, Mrs. Carter went on with the show while the stage crew freed her strains from the machine's grasp

Although Beyonce's extravagant long locks are safe and sound now, the incident brings the issue of weave or extentions to the forefront.

It is no secret that the "Grown Woman" singer and other entertainers use artificial means to give their hair that "full of body" look. Some do it by any means necessary. Although the embellishment might be a sight for sore eyes, is it worth a celebrity risking their safety for it? Is Beyonce's mishap a sign that the weave may need to take a time out?

Celebrity stylist Lysa Cooper, who we can partially thank for Rihanna's 2008 hair cut, said to Vogue Italia that the big hair trend needs a rest.

"Everybody needs to stop with the hair, including Beyonce," said Cooper.

Besides getting her hair stuck in a fan, Beyonce has been through the ringer during the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. This includes being slapped on the face and butt and having a fan practically faint by her touch
