Lana Del Rey Lyrics Insult Lady Gaga In ‘So Legit’ New Song: ‘Stefani, You Suck’ [LISTEN]

Lana Del Rey's soft voice and sweet melodies can't hide her biting lyrics directed at Lady Gaga. In her new song "So Legit," Lana Del Rey uses Lady Gaga's real name and doesn't have anything nice to say.

Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, was referred to directly in LDR's song "So Legit." Lana Del Rey disguises her swearing and bitter words in her whispering voice and the almost indiscernible tempo of the tune.

Lana sings: "Stefani, you suck, I know you're selling 20 million / Wish they could have seen you when we booed you off in Williamsburg / You're hurt, I know my words don't hurt, yeah."

At the end of the song, Lana croons: "What happened to Brooklyn, what happened to our scene, baby? / Have we all gone Gaga crazy? / Remember when the streets used to be dangerous and we were born bad / And we were born bad?"

PopCrush.com reports that it sounds like one private boarding school student from New York going after another.

LDR was also in the news recently for the leak of her song "Black Beauty" on the internet last week, Fashion & Style reports.

Lana talked about the song in an interview with BBC in February.

"It's a little more stripped down but still cinematic and dark," she said about the tune.

She even talked about the video that would go with it: "As soon as I write the words to a song, I can paint exactly what I want the picture to look like."
