Battlefield 4 will be available for the Xbox 360 on October 29 and will feature players aiming to prevent a war between the United States and China.

The game follow Sergeant Daniel Recker, a member of Tombstone Squad who's been sent to China to try and extract several Chinese VIP's that are believed to be imminent danger following an apparent coup by high-ranking members of the Chinese military, according to the International Digital Times.

There are also rumors that DICE is considering a change in the Battlefield 4 multiplayer player cap, already up to 66 from the previous 64 to accommodate the return of Commander Mode, and the studio is purportedly testing multiplayer servers that could support 70+ players on/after the game's release date, the International Digital Times.

Battlefield 4's October 29 release date prompted rumors that Sony would release the Playstation 4 on the same day, but the company has not confirmed speculation.

This led many gamers and experts to believe that PlayStation 4 release date may happen much earlier, even weeks before the market launch of its intense rival console, Microsoft's Xbox One, which is set to be released on November 27.

Battlefield 4 ranks high on Amazon's list of pre-ordered games for the Xbox 360.
