Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie Release Date In Last Quarter Of 2013; Is This Bad News Or Good News For Android Users?

Tech fans and enthusiasts are not likely to experience Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie until the last quarter of this year.

Stabley Times reported that the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release date was pushed back to the 4th quarter of this year. This can be the earliest launch of the upcoming iteration of Google's mobile operating system, since the internet firm's main priority is the release of the major update for the current OS, the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

There was a leaked Android OS build that has been flying around and experts initially assumed that it is the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, thus, intensifying the rumors of its imminent release. However, observant hackers found that its embedded code name just points out to another firmware release for the Jelly Bean, which is Android 4.3.

The revelation that Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release date is not going to arrive until the last months of the year actually was some kind of bad news/good news for the Android users. Bad news is that they still have to wait for several more months before they can experience large scale revamp of the Google OS through the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. But the good news is, at least, they already have a timeframe as to when they can expect the release of the highly-anticipated Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. Also, with the nearing release of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean in just within week, hosting mid-level enhancements and new features, it won't actually be that long before the next generation of Android OS comes.

However, even if there is a huge possibility that Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release date is going to be on Q4 2013, an early 2014 release should also not be ruled out. Make sure to get updates regularly as Google will most definitely provide more details about Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release date in the coming weeks.
