Game Of Thrones Season 4 Spoilers At Comic-Con: ‘More Action’ And Scenes With Jon Snow; Best Season So Far, Peter Dinklage Promises

"Game of Thrones" season 4 will be even better than season 3, the cast revealed at 2013 San Diego Comic-Con

The cast of the hit HBO show talked about the upcoming season on the panel, and revealed a few spoilers of what fans can expect from the next episodes, which will premiere spring of 2014.

"Game of Thrones" producer David Benioff talked about the filming of the new season, Entertainment Weekly reports.

"We got more action, which is obviously more time consuming. It's a brutal shooting season ahead. But if we can make it through, yeah, I think it's going to surpass season three. The last 3 episodes, there's so many scenes we've been waiting for so long to do. And it just gets more and more fun to write for these characters," Benioff said.

Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister , also spoke about the next season. The actor agrees with Benioff that this season could be the best, The Christian Post reports.

"I just finished reading the scripts, and the scripts these guys have turned out are my favorite so far of the whole series," Dinklage said.

Fans can also expect a lot of scenes with actor Kit Harington, who portrays Jon Snow. He revealed at the panel that season 4 is "very action filled" and "there are some really important things that happen to my character," The Examiner reports.

On Wednesday, July 24, Wetpaint reported that the series has begun filming in the countryside of Iceland this week. Filming on the new season will take place in the area until August 1.

Season four will consist of ten episodes and will focus on the second half of "A Storm of Swords," the third book in George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series.
