PlayStation 4 Release Date On Holiday Season: Sony PS4 All-Clear For Market Launch After Getting FCC Certification

PlayStation 4 release date has not yet been revealed by Sony, but the next-generation game console already received its approval from the FCC, meaning, the product is already cleared for market release.

Although there is no definite PlayStation 4 release date yet, the product certification from the Federal Communications Commision or FCC for the Sony PS4 just intensified the reports of its imminent launching. According to a report from Gotta Be Mobile, Sony PlayStation 4 release date may not happen until sometime this holiday season, but the certification from FCC, only made the fans more excited about the console.

In fact, even if there is scarcity when it comes to details about the PlayStation 4 release date, the pre-order demand of Sony's game platform was already very impressive. GameStop and Amazon had to stop the pre-orders for the Launch Edition of Sony PS4 as its allocated units was already 'sold out.'

The product certification from FCCC for Sony's next-gen console depicts a sketch of the "black rectangular prism," which is the PlayStation. It also verifies some of the PS4 specifications such as the AMD Jaguar processor which enables the console to reach top speed of up to 2.75 GHz. This will help the console push some impressive performance for the new games.

Bits of information flying around about the PlayStation 4 release date are still unofficial and will continue to be rumors unless Sony makes the much awaited announcement of the console's launch schedule. Actually, there were reports claiming that the console may be released in November, before the market launch of a rival product, Microsoft Xbox One.

Aside from the yet-to-be announced PlayStation 4 release date, gamers are also excited with the number of exclusive games that will arrive for the PS4. Some of the titles are Knack, Drive Club, Killzone: Shadow Fall. Multiplatform titles like Watch Dogs, Call of Duty: Ghosts; Battlefield 4, Need for Speed and Assassin's Creed IV will also be available to PS4 owners.

Make sure to watch out for more PlayStation 4 release date and other exciting details as its launch later this year approaches.
