Microsoft officials are beginning to review the Xbox One's games and price to improve its reputation, The Inquirer reports, emanating the possibility of a sales, specs, graphics poll boost for the next-generation console.

Michael Dunn, program manager on Xbox Live, has taken to the Microsoft blog to talk up itsnew reputation features and how you can use them to massage the virtual world view of your online character, The Inquirer also reports.

"Gaming has always been a social activity, and for Xbox One we redesigned the Xbox Live community-powered reputation system from Xbox 360 to help better inform players about their behavior in the community," Dunn said, according to the site.

Microsoft is allegedly considering dropping the price of the Xbox One by $50, Forbes.com reports, leaving many gamers wondering is sales, specs and graphics may be affected. 

Famed game titles "Diablo 3" and "Reaper Of Souls" are expected to come to the Xbox One, Forbes reports, intensifying Microsoft' next-generation console rivalry with Sony's Playstation 4.

More Xbox One games will run in 1080p eventually, Microsoft Xbox director of development Boyd Multerer has said in a new interview, Game Spot reports, leaving many gamers wondering if there will be a slowdown of sales, specs and graphics.

The eighth generation of consoles (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Wii U) "could be the last generation of dedicated hardware," game market research firm EEDAR chief product officer Geoffrey Zatkin said, GameSpot.com reports.

United Kingdom retailer Maplin has cut the price of the Xbox One to £349.99--the same price as Sony's PlayStation 4, GameSpot.com reports, and next-generation console gamers certainly had a lot to say about both system's graphics specs, sales and price.

"Some of the features I find appealing in the Xbox One...a game machine that says its next gen but still uses last gen graphics and charges me a whole lot of money for it," one gamer satirically responded on the site.

"No qualms with that and many will have switched because. But many are unaware of what's under the hood. They don't visit gaming sites so dont compare the details difference of graphics. What really killed ms recently is the price and shockingly awful pr campaign. They made sonys job so easy," another gamer commented.
