DriveClub PS4 release date is going to be revealed in weeks.

Despite the news about layoffs at Evolution Studios, the developer of DriveClub for the PlayStation 4, Sony recently confirmed that the creation of the racing game is on-going. Issuing a statement to Videogamer, SCEE said that it ""would like to make it very clear that the development of DRIVECLUB on PS4 is going from strength to strength."

The company further stated:

The announced studio changes across WWS yesterday have not affected the development of DRIVECLUB or the DRIVECLUB team, which has always had great direction and continues to do so.We have full confidence that the game will deliver on its PS4 promise to be the first truly socially connected racing title and we are very pleased and excited by the calibre of work from Evolution Studios.

DriveClub PS4 release date was originally scheduled for November 13 but it was delayed to later this year.  According to rumors, DriveClub PS4 release date might happen in June. The post on VG24/7 reported that the official PlayStation Magazine Italy "reckons that the PS4 racer is due in June."

Teasing about DriveClub PS4 release date, the official Facebook page of the magazine reads, "We like the 'hunch' that Driveclub will arrive in June, but you do not tell anyone..."

However, racing fans can expect to have more and official updates regarding DriveClub PS4 release date in the weeks to come, since the game is already making 'spectacular' progress.

As cited on Game Revolution, Sony shared, "The progress being made on the game is spectacular, so we're looking forward to sharing an update on development, release date and videos of the game in action in the weeks to come. We thank you for your patience and assure you, it will be worth the wait."
