iPhone 6 Release Date: Report Claims Apple Will Release 4.7" And 5.5" iPhones In September, Mass Production Of Displays, Fingerprint Sensors Already Under Way

iPhone 6 release date: Since the iPhone 5s launch, a number of people have already been asking when the iPhone 6 would arrive. And from what we know from past Apple releases, the company releases one new smartphone every two years, and an upgraded version of the previous model every year.

That just means, this year we will see an iPhone with major improvements and changes, unlike the iPhone 5s which only has a number of tweaks compared to iPhone 5.

Now, according to a recent report, the most-awaited Apple flagship device will launch 'as soon as September', and would come in 4.7 and 5.5-inch versions.

In a report by BGR, Nikkei has reported that it has been confirmed that the Cupertino manufacturer will release two iPhone versions this year just like in 2013 when it launched the iPhone 5s and 5c.

Both the 4.7 and 5.5-inch versions of the iPhone would become available by September this year. It is still almost halfway through the year, but we're pretty optimistic with the report.

To further prove the claim, Nikkei reports that component manufacturers of the iPhone have already begun mass production of key parts of the device such as fingerprint sensors, and liquid crystal drivers. Meanwhile, production of the rumored sapphire LCD panels would begin next quarter.

So, are you already excited of Apple's upcoming iPhone?
