Upcoming Blackberry Phones 2014: CEO Says Company Will Release 3 High-End Smartphones In The Next 18 Months, New Devices Primarily Focused On Keyboard-Loving Market

Upcoming Blackberry phones 2014: Last year, we all thought that it was the end for Blackberry. But now, we are already a few months into the year and the Canadian company is still alive and kicking. And if you are a fan of the company's trademark QWERTY keyboard, then it's time for you to jump and shout for joy.

And during Blackberry's earnings call today, CEO John Chen states that the company will be launching a number of high-end devices in the following months.

According to a report by BGR, Crackberry states that Chen is looking to take the company back to its original roots where it grew a very loyal fanbase - the keyboard lovers.

To further emphasize his point, Chen even mentioned that Blackberry would be developing devices which are "keyboard centric", which is certainly great news for all those BB fans who were disappointed with the company's previous flagship, that cost the manufacturer more than a billion dollars.

While this plan sounds good, it may be more difficult to put into perspective in the practical world. If Blackberry will focus on developing high-end devices packed with keyboards, then it will only cater to a very small portion of the market.

If the company's devices do not get the approval from that particular market, then it may just be the end of the line for the Canadian phone manufacturer.
