Selena Gomez Justin Bieber eloping? Probably not, but that's the rumors that's hitting the net since Selena Gomez started showing off the new ring Justin Bieber bought her. Maybe the Bieb is trying to buy Selena's testimony.

It seems Selena Gomez was served with papers about Justin Bieber's anti-paparazzi attack. Not that the "Come and Get It" singer needs the money, Selena Gomez recently dropped millions on a mansion, but it is fun to speculate.

TMZ reported that real estate sources said Gomez paid about $3 million for a 5-bedroom 7,200 square foot mansion in Calabasas, California. The new Selena Gomez mansion is only a few minutes' drive from the Kardashian empire in Hidden Hills.

The only stipulation Selena had for her new mansion was that it could not be located in The Oaks, where Justin Bieber used to live. Justin Bieber recently moved to Atlanta.

Distance doesn't keep Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber separated, though. At least not in the legal sense. Selena Gomez can't even go shopping without constant Justin Bieber reminders. This week's reminder came as she was leaving a Los Angeles convenience store.

According to Us magazine, Selna was coming out of the store and got a subpoena that summoned her to testify in a case involving Justin Bieber. The Bieb allegedly assaulted a photographer at the Calabasas Commons in May 2012 while Justin and Selena were on a date. The celebrity couple were gone by the time the cops showed up.

In a statement from the Malibu-Lost Hills Sheriff's Station at the time, the police said  "The victim complained of pain and requested medical attention. Personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded. The victim requested a criminal report be taken regarding the incident and an allegation of misdemeanor Battery report was taken at the scene."

Photographer Jeffrey Binion's lawyer, Mark DiCowden told RadarOnline "I will be serving Selena Gomez next week. She witnessed Justin Bieber attack a photographer back in 2012."

Selena Gomez was photographed with a new ring on her left hand on March 26, sending the gossip mill into overdrive that Justin Bieber and Selena are planning to elope. HollywoodLife.com reported that Selena's family is worried that she may run-off with Bieber.

According to reports, the ring was a gift from Justin Bieber. An insider told HollywoodLife.com that Selena's family "is extremely worried that she'll do something crazy like elope with him. Selena is totally wrapped back up in Justin, it's the same pattern happening all over again."

Again, it's more fun to put think he's buying off her testimony.
