Samsung Galaxy S5 Specs: Flagship Boasts Its Baby Monitor App, Seriously Samsung?

Samsung Galaxy S5 specs: Do you want to have an Android smartphone that offers unique features and functions? Well, you may want to check out Samsung's latest flagship - the Galaxy S5.

During its launch at MWC in Barcelona, we confirmed that the high-end device gets some pretty cool features such as water and dust resistance, a fingerprint scanner, and a heart rate monitor.

Apparently, Samsung wants to up its game by bringing a completely useless useful app for its flagship phone.

Introducing the Baby Monitor!

According to a report from GSM Arena, the Samsung Galaxy S5 introduces a completely unique feature which, in theory, can help mothers in caring for their babies.

Together with the Galaxy Gear, the baby monitor works wonders as it automatically lets the Gear vibrate whenever it hears a child crying nearby. In case you are trying to imagine possible situations, the mother can leave her baby for a while together with the Galaxy S5 without any worries because her smartphone will just inform her in case something 'bad' happens.

In the report, the Galaxy S5 can 'hear' a child's cry within a meter away, but only if there are no other noises around. So if you want to make sure your smartphone can hear your baby cry, you can place the device inside the baby's crib.

Good thing the Samsung flagship is resistant to water, and hopefully any kind of fluid for that matter.
