‘Alien: Isolation’ Release Date Confirmed At EGX Rezzed 2014; Sega And Creative Assembly’s First-Person Horror Survival Game For Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, PS3 And PS4 Arriving On October 7

"Alien: Isolation" release date has finally been announced.

The official Alien: Isolation release date was confirmed today by game developer Creative Assembly and publisher SEGA during the EGX Rezzed 2014, where a playable demo for the game was also made available. As posted on Computer And Video Games, Alien: Isolation release date is going to happen on October 7. The upcoming first-person survival horror title is expected to be available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.

Allistair Hope, the Creative Lead of Creative Assembly, shared:

"We couldn't be happier to finally announce a date for Alien: Isolation. The reaction we have seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts. It's the Alien game that we've always wanted to play and we can't wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall."

In Alien: Isolation, the players will take on the role of Ripley's daughter trying to survive against a single Xenomorph, as posted on Examiner.

Furthermore, describing Creative Assembly's survival title, the post on IncGamers.com reads:

This game is based on the original Ridley Scott 1979 classic film and not the slightly less good sequels which is a huge plus for the game already. Expect some scary moments in dark dank futuristic environments that take inspiration from the film while that pesky Xenomorph hunts you down.

Moreover, as posted on GameRant, Alien: Isolation has a lot of promise, and could be one of the titles to keep an eye on. Moreover, the post also mentioned that the game's approach is what makes Alien: Isolation unique.

It reads, "Much like the Alien films, Isolation keeps things intimate, putting players up againsta single xenomorph. There's no endless horde and there's little room for error as a result. What's more, the title reportedly has some deep ties to those Alien films with a story that follows Ellen Ripley's daughter Amanda."
